I'm Karen — a senior software engineer and tech lead based in the Netherlands. By day I ship software and lead teams. Outside of that, I'm in the workshop: 3D printing, CNC, woodworking, and photography, usually with a camera running.
This site is the reference layer behind my builds — the BOMs, files, code and long-form write-ups, plus a photo gallery of the work along the way. It's also where the software and the shop meet: a lot of my builds need a bit of both, and I like documenting how.
I care about things that are quiet, repeatable and well-documented — whether that's a printer I can run overnight or a function that returns in milliseconds instead of minutes.
